The scheme had to limit the amount of structural intervention and take advantage where possible of existing openings. Planning consent was forthcoming due to the integrity of our proposals together with comprehensive documentary support.

We opted to insulate the building on the external face of all walls and the roof which allowed them to make maximum advantage of the existing internal floor area with a modest glazed link between the barrel-vaulted barn and adjacent storage building.
